蝙蝠冠状病毒HKU4(Bat-CoV HKU4)是一种有包膜的,单链RNA哺乳动物2型β冠状病毒,已发现与负责中东呼吸综合征的冠状病毒(MERS-CoV)是导致2012年中东沙特阿拉伯,约旦,阿拉伯联合酋长国,英国,法国和意大利爆发与呼吸道综合症相关的冠状病毒的原因。[1] [2] [3] [4]

传播
向人类传播的确切方法尚不清楚。 但是,已经证明包括HKU4在内的βCoV具有重组的倾向并引起种间传播。 但是,这在MERS-CoV与之最相关的C组βCov中看不到。[5]
